Funding for 50% of the course fee for up to 10 employees may be available to employers under the STEP Scotland Diploma under the Flexible Training Opportunities.The Fund aims to help Scottish organisations with up to 150 employees become more resilient and successful.


Key Features:

• The Flexible Opportunities Fund applies to businesses with less than 150 employees.
• 5,000 training opportunities are available.
• Employers must pay for the training on behalf of the learner.
• Funding is on a first come served basis.
• Applications for funding must be made by 31 March 2012. Decisions are fast - usually within five working days.
• Training must not commence until such time as an application is deemed by SDS to be successful.
• Training must be completed by 30 June 2012.
• Claims must be submitted by 31 August 2012.
